Southall

I made the impromptu peice of Street Art in Southall a couple of years ago on a trip home one summer.

It was in honour of all the women from the Empire generation, who made the journey during the 50’s and 60’s. When post war Britain invited families at the time to come over to sunny England and help rebuild the country. I based the image on my Grandmother who against the odds, brought the family over and settled in Southall.
